You can reach the Central Black Forest easily by car, train or by plane.

Arriving by car

Zell-Weierbach is located near the freeway A5 Frankfurt – Karlsruhe – Basel.

• Take the Exit Offenburg.
• Take the overpass direction Offenburg.
• Turn right at the fourth light. This street is called Grabenallee.
• Stay on Grabenallee. After 1 km the name of the street is changing to Weingartenstrasse.
• Stay on Weingartenstrasse for about 2 km – the street will lead you straight into our village, Zell-Weierbach.
• In the center of Zell-Weierbach turn left into Weinstrasse. (Tip: you recognize the center of the village by a few old wooden-framed houses. If you realize that you are driving uphill, you have gone too far and need to turn around.)
• Stay on Weinstrasse. You will pass the first cross-street -Schulstrasse- and after about 150m you will turn left into our street – Winkel. (Tip: on the right you will pass a big festivity hall, and on the left you will see a small post office. In front of the post office you will turn left into our street, Winkel.
• Our house – Winkel 5 – is on your left.
• Take the first driveway on your left side and drive all the way up. Our house is a bit hidden in the back. Please don’t park in the lower part of the driveway, instead drive all the way up till you are in front of our door – house number 5. Here we will help you unload your luggage.
• Parking spaces are about 50 metres away from the house and we will be happy to show them to you after unloading.

Arriving by train

Rheintalbahn (700/702): Hamburg – Hannover – Cologne – Mannheim – Frankfurt – Basle. The ICE stops at the trainstation in Offenburg.

Arriving by plane

The Black Forest is also easy to get to by plane. The nearest international airports are located in Strassbourg (France, 30 km), Basle (Switzerland, 90 km). Other close airports are located in Stuttgart (150 km) and Baden-Baden (50 km).
